Transferring TI Jazz Flats from thru-body to thru-bridge?

Hi all,

Just wondering if TI Jazz Flats (4 string) are flexible enough to handle a change like this? I'm aware there would be a slight kink in strings near the bridge from the original string witness points over the bridge saddles from going thru-body. Would this eventually straighten out? These strings are less than a month old on my bass but would prefer to transfer them to another bass.

I've done this when using old strings to test a bass setup. Should be fine.

Depends how picky you are. I've done it alot, with different flats, including TIs. I couldn't hear or feel anything out of the ordinary, but that small kink in the string drove me nuts, so I bought new ones ..

I had some that was B and E through body on my Warrior bass. Took the off after couple weeks and they was fine. No issues at all.

I just did that exact thing yesterday. Took TI's off a through body P bass and put them on a Road worn Jazz through the bridge. No issues, sounds great.
