I need some help determining which Fender and/or aftermarket tuners fit the MIA Fender Deluxe Precision neck I have. This is from the Deluxe P produced around ‘96-‘06 with the humbucker in the bridge position.

I bought the neck unloaded to install on a modded MIM bass I’ve built that has a slight issue with the original neck.

The neck takes a tuner with two pins on the backside of the tuner. There are no screws fastening the tuner to the headstock. The pins hold the tuner from turning and the bushing screws down to lock it all in place. I really don’t want to drill any new holes in the back of the headstock.

I had read that Schaller made the original tuners for Fender and they have a current model which has the two pins. Feeling lucky, I bought a new set of the Schaller M4S light weights and unfortunately, the pins don’t match up with the holes on the back of the headstock. Oh yeah, The tuners need to be black to match the rest of the hardware on the bass.

Can anyone give me some direction on what the proper OEM and replacement tuners are for this neck? Again, they need to be black. No thread is complete without pics!
