I own a Rumbler UBass. I love playing it. The Shadow pickup module (with tuner/volume/tone controls) is malfunctioning and I may need to replace the entire pickup system if Kala can't sell me a replacement module. I thought I might attempt to disconnect the power supply and module from the pickup and output jack and utilize an exterior preamp. I really don't like the tiny volume and tone controls on the Shadow module anyway. I'm seeking recommendations for an entire system replacement or advice on disconnecting the power supply and module without destroying the connection between the pickup and output jack. Thanks.
