Ultimate Pickup Placement Comparison

So I went a little nuts this weekend and decided to create a visual comparison on pickup placement with most common bass types.

I generally find the topic pretty interesting and often a little overlooked. Due to different body shapes, the very exact position of a pickup is often not easy to recognize.

This is totally useless chart.

Since they are all 34 scale bass guitar, the correct guide line should align on nut and 12th fret for correct image compare.

There’s a limitation to how well you can compare visually like this, due to slightly different angles of each photo. But overall I think it‘a a great tool to roughly visualize it. Thanks for sharing!
