Unique String Tree

Looking to replace a string tree with something non-classic.
Anyone know of any non standard, unique, string trees?

For guitars there are many strings trees, not so much for basses. I have not seeing anything inspiring. I keep considering make one myself. For now I just use these. Seems to be less binding comparing to the coin style.

i think this is one of the "standards" but i like them because they can cover all four strings on all of my 4-banger headstocks (i.e., FSOs):

Yeah, the straight bar is cool, simple and the least offensive option. Personally, I hate the look of string trees. I wish all bass headstocks were tilted. But that's just me.

If you want to get really creative, check out Olinto basses. They use a buffalo nickel as the string retainer. It's cool looking.

thanks! i love it, too. it's a real pleasure to play --- it's an active EB with plenty of tone options, but for me: it just feels right: the neck is just about perfect for me.

This is just the kind of thing I'm looking for.
It just gave me the idea that I can turn any disk-like object into a string tree! Thanks!
