Unknown ‘Jason’ bass model/year. Suspected Fujigen but could be a knockoff

I own a Jason Lyrebird which is a violin style body, the tuners, tailpiece, bridge and pickup look the same.

After researching I’ve found out that ‘Jason’ bass guitars would have been made by the Japanese instrument company ‘fujigen’ a good while back but cannot for the sake of me find anything like it

I've had one of these for thirty years and this is the first time I've seen another! I love this guitar. It's really nice to play.

Mine is missing the pick guard and the knobs so it is nice to see the original hardware. Now I know what knobs to buy. The tone knob on mine has always seemed faulty. I have just taken the pots out and I think it was wired incorrectly. Have any of the other owners noticed this or is it just mine?
