Upgrading Speaker Fender Rumble LT25

Hello folks, I'm newbie bassist and in this forum :D. Anyone know which after market speaker can replace the Fender Rumble LT25 OEM speaker ? :help:.
On the manual book say the power output is 25watts into 8ohm. I have been searching for the after market speaker with the same spec but still not find it :blackeye:.
By the way I own Fender Rumble LT25 2 months ago and when I crank it up it will buzzing.

On a day when I obviously had too much time on my hands, I replaced the torn 8” Fender speaker in my Rumble 25 with an Eminence neo 12”. The speaker was going to be put in a Rumble 100 before I sold it. I’ll have to take some pictures but it was a fun experiment. I had to plug up the front port and add a larger tuned port in the back. It was a Tim Allen Tool Time project.

@dimceng_ and @oddeotek, you should come join the Fender Rumble Club by posting a pic of your Rumbles. Yes, oddeo, even your FrankenRumble qualifies!

We're a wide ranging group with over 1,300 members around the world, encompassing all versions of Rumbles from the 300 watt all tube Custom Shop, the V1, V2 and now both modeling and non-modeling V3s. dim, someone may have somethings you can try before replacing the speaker, if that still seems necessary.

We also have assembled a vast collection of Rumble info, including some speaker replacements, that our members share.

How does it sound? This seems like a great idea to me.:bassist:
It sounds very thick and fat. You can turn the amp up all the way without distorting the 120 watt speaker. I don’t know the actual frequency trade offs that were made by stuffing a 12” speaker in a box designed for an 8” but it does sound better than before the mod and can put out more bass.

Hard to say without doing the math.

Within the right cabinet and tuning, it looks ok with a casual glance.

Zombie Thread.

While buying my wife some earrings at a local pawn shop, they had this brand new Rumble 25, and I talked them down to $40. Tried it out and it was okay at best in terms of sound. I am thinking of using it to amplify an electron drum kits, so it won't get crazy loud when my sone plays it. I am thinking of replacing the speaker with.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Poor choice, terrible sensitivity compared with what's already in it.

Putting in another speaker without doing "THE MATH" can end up going the wrong way.
For the amp you have, it may not be worth the trouble and expense.

The explanation of the Math starts here...

But it's all some really good stuff to get cozy with if you want to learn more about the subject.

The short answer? Take your money and buy a larger amp.
