I'm not a hater... At this point my Doc Lloyd Photon Death Ray is "always on".
We're currently playing as a 3 piece, when a number of our tunes could really use a 4th (ideally keys) to fill out the sound.
I had decided to use my Mooer Tender "octave up" for parts of one tune - hadn't rehearsed it that way but I was pretty sure the writer/guitarist would dig it.
What I didn't expect was that my big ol' foot would stomp on the B channel of my SA Manta (which also lives on my little board).
I wound up really digging it, and kept it even on the parts where I turned the octave off...
So if you want to know how to bring effects into your playing - just have big feet!
You can hear it at about 2:50 on this clip.
