There are several groups within the U.S. Army Band, including traditional wind bands, a jazz band, a rock band, a chorus, and a chamber orchestra. The current opening is the position of Double Bassist for the chamber orchestra, which is also known as the U.S. Army Strings, and the Strolling Strings. The job offers opportunity to perform many styles and many ensembles in addition to the Strings.
