Hey,
So I was browsing around looking new budget options for bass-friendly clones of overdrive and distortion pedals, and I stumbled on some offerings from Valeton. In particular these two caught my eye:
https://www.thomann.de/intl/valeton_tube_engine_vintage_overdrive.htm (Tubescreamer clone)
https://www.thomann.de/intl/valeton_darktale_vintage_distortion.htm (Rat clone)
What I find interesting about these, mainly the TS clone, is it replaces the tone knob with a two band EQ for just a couple euros more than the Joyo/Harley Benton version (in Europe, in my experience, you'd have to double the price to get a TS clone with a bass knob).
There's been a few fleeting references to Valeton on the site, but mostly regarding the Dapper Effect Strip, so I was wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with either of these?
