Victor Wooten also plays a Sire V7 ...

Definitely not his bass or amp rig since he is a Fodera and Hartke endorser. I've seen a large part of Victor's bass collection in person....pretty much all Fodera basses and a couple of Alembic basses.

One of those Alembic basses is the famous Stanley Clark Alembic.

And Victor can play anything.

Yes! I got to try that bass! And he has an upright also owned by Stanley. He brought them all in one night at one of the Wooten Woods bass camps I attended.......which I highly recommend!

Great playing by Victor. I just saw the Victor Wooten Trio a couple of months back when he came through my area. I especially loved when played his fretless with a bow. Awesome night. :bassist:

Yeah. And he has 4 arms too!

Even if they have an endorsement most of these guys won't have exclusive deals. They will own and play several makes.

I like VW, a lot, but in the context of this video he just seems to be over playing to me.

I was amazed hearing Victor Wooten playing the same very bass than mine. But rather better to be honest :)... So I am sure now that the only thing I need is more practice, and not new gear .

Victor plays more than Fodera’s though he’s certainly known for playing them. I found that out when I saw him with Dennis Chambers and Bob Franceschini at The Keswick in 2017. Cool that he’s playing a Sire.
