Do or did many people use this setting with the 3-way Ultra Lo switch? The manual for the current SVT-VR and the 50th Anniversary Heritage SVT both have the "Bass Cut" switch position spec as -20dB @ 40Hz. Does this provide a similar roll-off curve to just turning the bass knob down all the way?
This would certainly work as an HPF, but I'm wondering if it would be too much of a roll-off for most people. I don't own a vintage SVT, and I don't hear much talk about this setting.
