VM jaguar boost circuit mods

So I just bought this VM jaguar and I think I’m going to go with DiMarzio DP-126 pickups, so I wanted to know what to do with this boost circuit? I’ve read things saying they make the pickups sound bad, and I’ve read stuff that says leave it in its great, ideally if I left the boost in I think I’d want it to be a toggle switch anyway, like the EMG PA2, so I’m just wondering if that’s even possible or if I should just rip the boost out and be done with it
