VT bass deluxe VS. Bass Driver DI deluxe

So I just got a gig where we're playing with in-ears. A lot of the time we're doing flyouts with limited backline selection. I get a lot of the warmth and roundness of my preferred tone from my genz benz shuttlemax 12.0. I don't get to bring this with me most of the time, and I've noticed the tone on the in-ears is super dry, and not so good. I also have been wanting to get a bass boost pedal, a straight signal boost pedal, and anoter eq shaping pedal (low pass filter for that underwater/dubby tone). I found the VT bass deluxe and thought it would solve all these problems, without having to buy 2-3 more pedals. I got it, and just have found that it shapes the tone too much, like I set everything flat and then just a bass boost, it changes my tone without it on too much. I should have realized this, as it is a character emulation pedal. Basically I'm asking if the Bass driver deluxe would serve my needs more accurately. Thanks in advance!

The Bass Driver Deluxe has the Blend function which allows you to dial in your un-effected sound along with the SansAmp tube emulation. Still, you should be able to get a transparent bass tone with the VT. I'm not quite certain what you are describing. Are you having the difficulty using the pedal through in-ears or are you monitoring some other way?

What is the totally flat setting on a VTBD?

Something like this:

I am not doing a good job of describing it. I will make a video demo later.
