Walrus is discontinuing their optical compressor, and the price is great!
Walrus Audio Mira Compressor Pedal
Walrus Audio Mira Compressor Pedal
Looks like these sold out quick. I'll see what else they're getting rid of!
I have the MarkBass Compressore as well. And I thought as you did, but to be honest, my setup is MKII head, (2) cabinets-210 Travelers, and I feel keeping it all consistent as MarkBass makes my sound what it is, which many come up to me during/after a show telling me my bass tone sounds great.I'm wondering if the Walrus Mira should replace my Markbass Compressore? I like the Compressore just fine although I got it used. Getting something new in the box may be nice.
Just saw this price today Would love to hear folks thought on this pedal that price is crazy good.
Thanks for responding it's so cheap right now I'll have to give it a try.I think it’s overlooked considering the built in hpf is a great feature for bass. It’s warmer and fuller sounding than my hyper luminal but bit harder to dial in without the gain reduction led’s though.

I Never used an Empress but at $103.00 USD at least to me if I was looking to upgrade my compressor I'd be all over this deal. I just got one for the $129.00 USD and thought that was a great deal.I'm using a cheap Donner compressor currently and I've been looking at buying a better one. I've heard wonderful things about the Empress Bass Compressor. How does this Walrus Mira compare? Should I just wait on the Empress or is this deal too good?
