I was playing the bass after some time off on I noticed the action was higher and quite a bit of relief. Went to make a truss rod adjustment... none left. It's not broken I'm guessing over tightened over the years.. way to fix?

Last time I checked a Washburn B8 was a banjo. Unless something is changed I think you need to find a different forum.
I think he mean an Force 8 that was also called Wings series B-8 in 1983.

Quick 'n easy: remove truss rod and add 2-3 washers. Replace nut and manually force neck into into a back-bow while re-tightening.

Yes, a washer or two of the correct size can get you more adjustment range.

I usually recommend moving to the next lighter gauge of strings, too.
You want a neck to be in it's own personal comfort zone.

I'm more of a guitar player... what would be good lite gauge without sacrificing bottom... I just started going down a size with my guitars.. I'm not really noticing a tone change.
