I own a westone spectrum GT that I've had since 1988. I really love it especially the thin neck that feels very fast and sleek. I'm looking into getting something similar in a 5-string and am also looking into picking up a fretless Bass also. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any guitars out there that feels similar to the westone spectrum GT when playing them. I'm thinking of trying the Yamaha trbx305 and the Ibanez sr305e. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Best budget 5 string would definitely include that Yamaha!
As far as feel of a Westone GT goes, I wouldn't know, but I know I've seen some threads on here in the past about them.

I got a Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass V to match the Electra in my avatar, but with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickup in it, it sounds a lot like my Spectrum GT. The look's quite a bit different of course, but the sound and feel are both there. Westone did make a few five strings (as did Aria Pro II) and they might be worth looking into if you have a bit of cash to take a chance on one of them; the parts look right but I haven't played any myself.
