What Ampeg head is this?

Guy on Craigslist says it’s a v4 but it’s not like one I’ve seen. I can’t tell what it says on the pic but I thought someone here might know what it is. Thanks

I thinks it’s a V4 Guitar amp. Looks like it might have had all the knobs replaced at some point.

I was thinking that too but I couldn’t find one with eight knobs they usually have 7

Yea, that is very odd. It looks like the far left knob was added and the writing seems like it is not the same font as the others. It does looks like the '70s era V4 Distortion 2 channel (sample here: Ampeg V4 Distortion 70's | Nathan's Gear Garage)

Wonder if someone modified the amp to add that additional knob; maybe tried to wire in the Reverb to the Distortion channel? I'd be curious if the far left knob has the dashes on the top part of the line under the knob like the rest do. If not, that would tell you if the knob was added afterward.

If it's less than $400, buy it. Cheap 100 watts. I have a V4 w/reverb that is a killer bass head.

Saw the add on Craigslist. For $500 for it and the 410e cabinet, I'd at least take a drive to try it out. Agree with mobass55, if you can get them for $400-ish and the amp is working properly, I'd do it. It'd be a steal-of-a-rig at that price, I think.

Is this a picture of the add, or is this your house?
I ask because if you can look, does it have tubes?
I was certain Ampeg made an old solid state amp years ago that looks quite similar to the V4B. Just checking, not attempting to be condescending.
