I went to check on my order for Salvation on Sand Mountain and it's on backorder so I picked up Sycamore Row off the discount table at Books-O-Billion.

Not a huge fan of Grisham but the price was right and I needed something to read so there it is.

The Road - Cormac McCarthy. Going to have to read some more of his work. Flying through this one. Very poetic.

My girlfriend, my brother, and my roommate's girlfriend are all dogging me for not having read any of the Harry Potter books so I may be strong-armed into reading that.

They really are pretty good. If you're an avid reader, you'll get through the first 2 pretty quick, then you're gonna want to read the rest anyway.

My new favorite mod. Hitch-22 was also excellent. It's too bad he never wrote fiction. I don't think he ever wanted to, but it would have been good.

At times almost Shakespearian, at other times dang near Biblical.
Dark story - well worth the read, but very long!

This is a really good non-fiction book, but DHF's book 'Paul Revere's Ride' was even better. It's an accurate historical account that reads like an action novel!

I was just going to post the same!
I have that and a few others on the same topic. Try also "The Battles of Trenton and Princeton" by William Stryker. It's maybe not as accurate as Fischer's book, but it is neat in it's own way. Since it was written quite a while ago. It has more local legend and lore, neat stuff

Perfect time of year for it given the timeline of the NY campaign.
