Anyone know if this effect (under Experimental Guitar effects) has a pedal equivalent? Here's a screenshot of the controls:

And a sound clip:

Sounds like a tremolo, bit crusher thing, delay, and reverb. It gets a little tedious if the controls are kept the same, but is great when 'manually' moving the 'knobs', so if there's an expression pedal input that would be amazing.

Anything like this exist in a single pedal format?

Monday bump with more samples:

Basic track with delay and verb already added:

Track with Squelch turned on. This is the effect's main thing. If there's a pedal that can do this (plus maybe the tremolo), I'd be set:

Same track with Squelch, Tremolo, and Echo all engaged:

Let's do away with the stock and rocket into 100% bona fide original:

"It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to make tuna salad without mayo."

I apologize for potentially derailing my own thread.

It sounds similar to something I prototyped years ago out of curiosity: a pitch shifter where the instantaneous pitch shift amount is controlled by the input waveform. So imagine that on every single cycle of your signal, the pitch is shifted up increasingly on the positive part of the wave, and down increasingly on the negative half of the wave.

It was vaguely ring mod-ish, with some dynamic control because the larger the input signal's amplitude, the more pitch shift up and down. The GarageBand version sounds much better and less ridiculous than that, though.

I think you could get in the ballpark with a delay that has envelope control, like the MidFi Electronics Clarinot.

Boom! Many thanks Taylor, I'm checking it out now

It sounds similar to certain sounds that happen when you change the delay time knob of a delay while echoes are still playing. (This may depend on the delay type and mode - it only seems to work in the "Tape" mode of my Digidelay.) So you might look into modulated delays or reverbs, where the delay time is modified by an oscillator, which can get you that drunk effect sound.

Here's a couple of examples - I don't own either of these pedals, try listening to the demos.

Earthquaker Space Spiral: Space Spiral
Mid-Fi Clari(not): Organ Drone

I'm hearing the similarities, but it's pretty different. The Redpanda Particle on delay LFO mode is getting close me thinks

I checked the plugins on the spring theory and it looks like you need several pedals to recreate the sound.

It has the standard noise gate then the pedalboard has a comp and a rat.

The tremolo is coming from the amp sim.

Then you get to ringshifter. The squelch knob controlled the dry/wet mix of this. I googled ringshifter and it said it's a ring mod and frequency shifter. Then I googled ringshifter pedal and the first thing that popped up was EHX Ring Thing. I'm not familiar with that pedal but it may get you closer to the sound your looking for. Then of course it had a generic echo plugin and another comp plugin.

Didn't know about the plugin windows in GB! Thanks for taking all those screenshots and walking through it. Not surprising that the tremolo comes from the amp sim since it affects the dry and wet signal equally. Surprised by the dirt before the ringshifter but that makes a lot of sense.
