My canidates are:

I had Behringer Ultrabass BX3000T, it sounded pretty good with my 3x10" Bergantino cab. I was usualy asked to turn down, and that (with weight) was reason I went to Markbass and 2x10 cab.
Don't have any experience with other amps on your list, but this Behringer will get the job done.

shipping is included? i'm guessing that means you can't try them in person.

i'd suggest doing a little searching on this board about each head. it seems like some are only 200 watts, so while that may work for jazz or classic rock, it may not be enough horse power for metal, hard rock, punk, etc.

btw, this is only personal opinion, but i don't care for the laney or the marshall at all, and i've never particularly cared for behringer or peavey, although if i had the chance, i'd want to try out as many of these as i could find locally because you really never know. i never particularly cared for harke - didn't hate the sound, didn't love it - but i love my LH500 head and my hartke practice amp, so it's always worth hearing each amp in person.

any reason you don't have any fenders or GKs on your list?

as you get recommendations here, keep in mind that different cabs can make a huge difference in tone, and someone here who loved one of the amps you list may love it through a particular cab.

Laney g150 for 120

Hi Mate,
I've only just joined TalkBass and saw your thread. I realise you would have bought an amp ages ago but I can confirm the Laney G150 is a solid workhorse of an amp.
I'm looking to sell mine (had it for a couple of decades) and just wanted to ask if the 120 you quoted was euro? I'm trying to get an idea of their current value.
Thanks muchly.
