The action on my bass is awful... you could park a bus under there and all my tools are getting dusty at work. Looking to order an allen key/wrench to adjust the truss rodd but I don't know what mm it is, anyone know?

Welcome to TB. It should be 4mm. I suppose there’s an outside chance it’s 5mm. I’d bet that a full set of metric Allen wrenches isn’t a whole lot more then one individual wrench and you will need some thing to adjust your bridge saddles as well if you’re doing a full setup.
My Squier P was a 4mm. Now it's more like 4.5683 mm since the previous owner gooched it. Now neither a 4 or 5 mm fit. But the action is where it needs to be after switching to flats so I'm not too worried about it........yet.
Previous CV line had 5 mm, all other series with double action TR had 4 mm. Can't tell what is in MII new CV series. In any case make sure it fits tightly, otherwise you risk to break the nut which is not repairable.
