I've recently been sent (it's still in transit), a lovely Fender Aerodyne Precision neck. While I'll have no issues with my project, I've read that not all machine heads will do the job on this beauty.
I've come across information that says that the Gotoh GB10 is designed for this (as well as the Hipshot equivalent, which is the HB10), INCLUDING on the Hipshot website. But a vendor told me that they won't work.
Can anyone guide me as to what I should get? The vendor says that I should measure the screw markings and then decide. The problem is that I live in India and between postal services and customs each package takes about two months. I don't want to have to wait 4 months before I can use the bass. Anyone with experience on this front could help greatly.
