I'm not objecting to it in principle -- I have to go through the same thing for my online banking -- and TB is very prompt about sending my e-mail the confirmation code. But the confirmation page that has the box for pasting in the code gives me the option -- which I always accept -- to confirm if I want to use that login for the next thirty days. To me this implies that I have that grace period where a single log-in will be sufficient, and I always confirm.

And it makes no difference; still, every time I log-in, I have to go through the confirmation code process. I *always* have to use the two-step approach. Either I am mis-reading something or doing something wrong, or the system is not following through on what it promises. I've had to deal with this for the last ten days.

It's very frustrating. This two-stage process adds six mouse clicks to every TalkBass log-in I do.

I thought they decided not to implement this 2FA?

I did the 2 step thing like a week or two ago and I’ve just stayed logged in as usual. Close tab, open new tab, “t”, “a”, click the blue “lkbass” and bam I’m on the main page.

I’m on iPhone.

mare you on desktop or something?

It sounds like the site isn't able to set the cookie for your login. Without the cookie, it'll ask you every time for the code since it's got no way to remember you. Make sure that you are accepting cookies via your browser settings.

I clear out my cache and cookies every so often for security reasons, but have not since the two-step authentication was installed. But then, I also do not go out of my way to seek out cookies. Thanks for the reply.
