I think there used to be something that used Tapatalk at one time. I never used it. The mobile version of the webpage works great for me.
As I understand it, there was one, but it never took off. No idea why, but I'm fine with it as is on my phone, and I assume most others are too, otherwise there'd be more demand for it.
There used to be one, it was popular enough but required technical enhancements TB was unable to manage (or something like that), if I recall correctly. Anyway, been and done.
Me, I hate having to "have an app" for every darned thing I want to do on my phone. Give me a browser, make a decent web page, all set.

As a former site administrator (not here), I can attest that Tapatalk is a royal PITA. It breaks, they update it and they you are forced into updates that break something else, it was always a pain for me.
I don't primarily use my phone here but the mobile version of this site seems functional enough. If I was a prolific poster using my phone I might have issues, I don't know.
Ditto! I can’t recall the last time I used a computer to access Talkbass - am always using from phone or ipad. The site works perfectly well via mobile browser. There’d have to be a material benefit provided from an app for it to be worth making/using, IMO.
To the OP - genuinely curious, I like riffing on ideas…. What’s missing from the site as is that an app might provide?
