Hi guys,

I’m doing up two basses, the first is a wine red Squier Jazz and I need fellow low enders to help me decide which colour pickguard to put on it.

If you could choose from one of the following choices below on the poll, that would be greatly appreciated?

Also any other mods you think could work too.

hi leonvdb :)

A poll needs a "carrrots" option! :D

That said: Black (maybe dyo with an old vinyl record :hyper:)

No pickguard at all (carrots :D), would be also very cool.

Also any other mods you think could work too.

Cream pup covers! (the modded 70s hype!)

Have fun!

no love for the Pino Palladino-ish look? I voted Tort! Love that combo - I'm generalizing red hues here, I know. Wine red is not Fiesta red etc. etc... still a nice combo

Anodized Gold for the win!

Depends on if you want your bass to look like so many others...black, white, etc...or if you want to be a bit different.
The answer is red tort or red pearl, even black or grey pearl, but whatever you do, don't go with white or black.

Recently saw one using a clear pickguard on a Fender P bass style body (the name and model escape me though) It it looked pretty dope...It was an orange candy paint on it, but if the pickguard should be thick enough to show a "ghosted" white outline of a pickguard. But that's my .02 on this subject though

EDIT: Found a pic of it...and I was TOTALLY wrong, but couldn't find the Orange one....But from what I found, it's a Sandberg.
