Which strings should I try out next?

I'm looking for a set of medium scale bass strings.

I've been using D'Addario XLs mostly because I can always get them and I like the fact that they are bright sounding and that they last a long time. Also they are cheap. However, they are very soft and I'd maybe like to try out stiffer strings. They don't have to be nickel plated like the XLs.

Some strings I'm considering:

Duesenberg BSRS1: stainless steel, 50-70-85-110.
GHS Boomers: cost about the same as Duesenberg. Never owned a pair but they seem to be loved by many. Nickel plated steel, either 45-65-80-100 or 45-65-85-105.
Warwick Black Label: Cheaper than Duesenberg and GHS but not by much. Stainless steel, 40-60-80-100.
Rotosound RS66M: the cheapest string that I was able to find. Stainless steel, 40-50-75-90.

If you like them relatively stiff, the Boomers 45-105 are a good option. So are GHS Super Steels 44-106, which come in "medium scale" (35.5" winding).

Warwick 40-100 and Roto 40-90 are lighter and not as stiff.

The Duesenberg set actually looks to be a prime contender.

[In fact,
@ajkula66: I'm not sure if you have any bass these could fit on, but in case you do:
Apparently, it's the shortest bass set they make.]

Bass Boomer are stiffer and have good tone life.I play DR Lo Riders ( don't expect to see these often at Guitar Center. I buy mine on Amazon) also have long life great tone, but the stainless version are a bit grippy.
