Spitfire doesn't offer a Sterling pickguard as standard, so there would be an extra charge of $75. This would bring the grand total to around $275. That's more than 25% of the value of the bass. I will say that he's proud of his plastic. If I was refurbishing a vintage bass, Spitfire might be an option for me, but in this instance I'll pass.
