Who's replaced MEC twin jazz bridge and jazz neck on fretless?

What did you replace them with, and what were the differences in tone?

I replaced mine with Villex J pickups. I did it so long ago that I don't really remember clearly, but I think the Villex are more full, deeper, I thought the MECs were a bit "weak" (whatever that means).
