Saturation and chorus/flanging are my main areas I'm interested in. Not looking for world war 3 in a box - just smooth, non-fizzy mild drive.

I've played one with guitar before so this probably won't help you as much as you want but I found the drive really great. Just that mild break up that gets more saturated the harder you dig in. At the time I didn't get it as I wanted something that could do more delay like tones and the Deco does that more slight echo/flange tone instead.
I'd be interested in trying one out for bass. Might drop by Deluxe in Melbourne over the weekend and give it a crack. Will let you know if I do.
