ezrah, my man, i can't do it --- i have so many favorites all at once --- for all i know, you could be a favorite of mine!
but FWIW, i grew up thinking jamerson was brilliant, larry graham was brilliant
and hip. and then jaco, and then all of the ones we can appreciate today, e.g., miller, wooten, clarke, spalding (a bunch!). but as an adult, full-time musician, i've played more jazz stuff. so names like
mingus, chambers, carter, gomez, etc., have had more meaning in some respect. big whup!
all of us have different backgrounds and individually evolving interests and goals. pretty cool if
diversity is its own valuable thing. i like your picks, too, and charles berthoud is one of my all-time favorites for sheer "wow!" he's extraordinary IMO.
keep checking out players, there are so many great players to listen to and learn from these days. keep an open mind and listen to everything.
play on, good luck!
