There's a ghost of a chance that the driver of that car doesn't play bass, doesn't know there's a P bass, and doesn't know that brand called "Fender" has some instruments made in Mexico. The car might be owned by an elderly woman named Miriam P. Some folks in FL like to do that on their vanity tags.

I’m fully aware that the person may not play bass. What amused me is where my mind automatically went since I am a bass player.

I was with some coworkers and the car in front of us had the plate MOON314. I felt very smart that I got if first and explained it to my boss. Bass players are naturally intelligent
