Winter Olympics 2018

I had to look up couture..... TB is so educational. :woot:
I was lying in bed last night and this thought came into my brain: is the “b” in aberdumbie silent? I have found that it is common for me to wake up in the middle of the night and have weird thoughts that seem perfectly - PERFECTLY - reasonable at 2:30am, but turn out to be absurd at 6:30am.

I like curling, but only for the haute couture.

I Love watching Curling!
That’s been going on for 4 decades.
Unfortunately, coverage is So sketchy that I’m not allowed to watch Curling nearly as much as I’d like.

I love watching the biathlon, luge, SKELETON! ... bobsleds, speed skating...been watching the NHL (Damn, Suits! The best players on the globe won’t be in South Korea...wass Wrong witchall?!?) since I was 10!

The Winter Olympics BURY the Summer Olympics...
IMHO...

I think the luge is insane. They strap a skate to your butt and push you off a mountain. That is a "hold my beer and watch this s###" sport.

the only thing crazier than that is going down head first, they do that too. That's what you want, your noggin stickin right out front whilst you hurdle down an alley of ice at 90 mph, what could go wrong right ?

The "b" is silent in aberdumbie. It is pronounced "aer-dum-ee."

The first “b” is pronounced as “l-m”. You are correct about the second “b”. It is silent..... So it is pronounced almer-dummie........ I am a ventriloquist’s puppet and require a very short scale bass.
