Wish I had the coin to upgrade my setup to all sennheiser wireless they make awesome stuff. Im currently using line 6 g90 and g55 units in my two bands and a shure psm300 and audio 2000 iem systems. None of these systems are bad but the sennheiser are a level above
I'm so glad I spent the $$ for the Senn gear when I was doing 80-90 gigs a year!
Absolutely love it over anything else I've used... no I'm not endorsed, nor have any relationship with them other than being a customer! I also use a Senn E835 mic as it sounds better on my wimpy voice than an Beta58!
I used my Senn gear again Last Wed/Thur/Fri night gigs... Only issue I had was the wal-wart kept falling out of the power conditioner socket in the rack... beats me why.. I think it was because the rack (which has my X32R and Wifi Xmitter installed) was ontop of another rack that was wobbly and it would get bumped each night at shutdown. Turn on my IEM's after powering up.. to find dead xmitter.. pushed the power supply back in, and bingo.
Might need to tape it to the outlet.. but .. I doubt I'm gigging anytime soon again - due to COVID in TX!
FWIW - I was running rechargeable EBL 2800 mAh AA's in my receiver pack, and the Senn BA30 Li USB-rechargeable batt on my xmitter.
We played 2 hrs Wed, 2 hrs Thurs and 3.5 hrs Fri and
I made it thru without changing my batteries!!
By playing.. I mean
ACTUAL playing music time, NOT gig duration.
We did 4 x 45min and 1 x 30 min sets Fri night with 30 min breaks. Downbeat at 20:30 hrs, close at 02:00!
Other 2 night were both 2 x 1-hr sets!
