Hello!
I have a project precision bass that i'm dialing in and want to give it a try in parallel. I'm looking for a little crisper top end out of the pickup. I've already done the 500k pots trick and still looking for a little brighter output. I know this will reduce the vol and tonal quality of the pickup, but that's ok.. just want to give it a try. I'm currently using the Dimarzio relentless P pickup which conveniently comes with 3 leads off of each 1/2 of the pickup: Red/Black/bare on one half and White/Green/bare on the other half. Do I just hook up both halves the exact same way to the same tab on the vol pot and same ground area to achieve parallel? Thanks!!
