Wiring guide for adding a MM style pickup, to a P-bass

I’m wanting to add a bit more versatility to a custom p-bass I’ve built. I was thinking of adding on a musicman style bridge pickup.

Trouble is, I don’t know the first thing about wiring up additional pickups.

So, ideally I’d like to have 3 controls; a master tone knob, and a volume knob for each pickup, so I can blend in/out both pickups individually.

has anyone got any resources I could look at regarding the electronics side of things. As always, any tips would be brilliant!

As long as you don’t want to do any schmantzy switching on either pickup a Jazz Bass diagram will do that. If do want switching options you’ll just need to add the switches.
