would this cabinet be good for 2 12” speakers?

again, sort of going along with my previous thread. just trying to ask the question i was wondering about. to all,

yes, design is hard. and i’m not very experienced. and it’s more complicated than i seem to be making it, i know. but i’m just asking if these speakers will sound like crap in this cabinet’s volume. you all are very knowledgeable, so i’d appreciate getting an answer to this rather than lurking around old threads. thanks!

a cabinet is ~5.5 cubic feet, sealed. the speakers would be legend bp122, two of them into the cabinet. as per the eminence speaker enclosure sheets, the cabinet would fall right in between the large and medium sealed cabinet in terms of volume. the speaker has good frequency response in the various simulations i sorta amateurishly put out.

i’m asking this question because, despite the enclosure designs and tber’s always saying a cabinet is “too small” to support various drivers, these legend bp122 and other speakers similar to it (basslite, beta and delta) only seem to see a sealed cabinet when it’s tiny. i’ve only ever seen threads about sealed cabinet designs for like 1.5 cubic feet per driver tops.

are you supposed to put these speakers into tight spaces when they’re sealed?? is it because most people just want small and lightweight cabinets??

I'm not understanding your drawings, as they show a single speaker in a narrow tall cabinet, but you're wanting this to be a 212? The Eminence drawings are also 112s.
yeah, that drawing isn’t really very accurate but it just shows how one speaker plays in the box, and then there should be one that shows one 12 in half of the cabinet.

it sounds dumb, but i seriously can’t find any speaker enclosure simulator that lets me put in 2 speakers into one box. so i just did two simulations, even if they don’t really give me much of an answer.

if there’s a little website or simple program that can have 2 drivers in a space and also shows frequency response, please show me!

as for the eminence drawings, i’ve been told that 212 cabinets sharing their space will have each speaker use one half of the volume. so to me, that means one speaker that needs 2-3 cubic feet of space per driver will work as a pair in a 4-6 cubic foot enclosure.
