Yamaha OC-01 anyone?

I recently found this video with a bass playing through this Yamaha OC-1 and it sounds awesome! It’s played side by side with the Boss OC2 but I kinda prefer the Yamaha over the Boss, only slightly though.

Also, if any of you can think of how I can recreate that sound through SA’s Spectrum or C4 (or other pedals like HX Stomp), I’d appreciate that. It has such a fat’n gnarly sound.

The Yamaha and Korg pedals were not widely distributed in the USA if at all but I do recall them as a player I worked with was a Yamaha player and used the full set up. I have tried to cop the sound on the Spectrum titled "Canned Yam[aha] bb" FYI Yams are a kin to sweet potatoes.

Cool, thanks so much! I just saw that you uploaded them a day ago! It sounds pretty darn close to that sound. I downloaded both of them. You just saved me $100 and space on my pedalboard

RESURRECTED! I just grabbed one of these on serious cheap, and I hope this doesn't raise prices, but it sounds real cool. Where the OC-2 is smoother and more round/deep sine-wavey, the Yamaha feels like enormous square waves with rounded corners, very fun to play staccato and a fresh flavor. Not Better than an OC-2, just different and a welcome addition to the octave options!
