You press the random button on your playlist, what are the first 5 songs that come up?

Didn’t actually do it - but based on recent commutes:

1) some Seven Mary Three - no, not Cumbersome. Probably Water’s Edge. Great Song.
2) Rage Against the Machine - pick one, it’s all good. Commerford is my Spirit Animal.
3) something Country (immediately skipped, and yes, I play in a country band) I’ve played it enough - you want me to actually listen to it????
4) Grunge of some sort. Probably Alice or Soundgarden.
5) Silversun Pickups - which I will belt out like your typical carpool karaoke bozo. If you have not heard this band - go do it. NOW.
6) something from Les Miserable. Don’t like it? Well then you are wrong.

Yes, that is 6. I’m a registered professional engineer - of COURSE I can’t count....

2) "Billy the Kid: Celebration" - Aaron Copeland
3) "Rainbow Connection" - Kermit The Frog
4) "Nutshell" - Alice in Chains
5) "Getting Ready to Get Down" - honeyhoney

I ran it twice
1) "I Remember Jeep" - George Harrison
2) "Wish That You Were Here" - Florence and the Machine
3) "Full Grown Boy" - Tom Petty
4) "Rattle That Lock" - David Gilmour

If I run random, I do not run playlists. I run my entire collection. I also refuse to change radio stations in a car and play both sides of every LP. Lot of good B-Sides out there. These were actually slightly less random than I expected. Quite a bit more diversity to be found in my iTunes than what you see here.

1. Harlequin - Weather Report
2. Blue Skies - Irving Berlin (I played the show once)
3. A Prayer - Kings Kaleidoscope
4. Mama, I Don’t Believe- The Avett Brothers
5. Box Full of Letters - Wilco

Trial 2: artists only.
1. Scott Mulvahill (check this guy out!!)
2. Tom Waits
3. As Cities Burn
4. The Wood Brothers
5. Emery
