I went into a "Black Hole" of absence of music around 1976 and didn't emerge until around 2007 (retirement "). This is a shameless way to get myself up to speed on what I have missed over half of my life.

Cool! Your pretty broad in your taste in music! One of the most killer bands I ever heard was Maynard Ferguson in Columbus Ohio. Another band I loved was the original group that was in "River Dance". Very un-hip to some people but they blew me away.

and Paul Young's "Wherever I Lay My Hat" -

I love playing "Steal My Kisses" by Ben Harper ... Such an awesomely fun bass line -
