Welcome to the new forum! The rules will probably be revised a few times until they're set, but here's what we expect of this forum, and why.
The internet is a far different place than it was when TB was created. There are hundreds if not thousands of bass related channels on YouTube or any other social media, and many of those we created by TB members. This forum is TB members to post and talk about things in their channel. So if you have lessons, gear reviews that you've done, or even a bunch of covers; this is your place, rather than posting new threads in other forums. This is not the place to discuss Scott's Bass Lessons, Davie504, or channels like Cover Solutions.
Due to the fact that some people post a LOT of videos (which is totally fine!), I think it would be best if each member limit their content to one thread that they constantly post in. I plan on eventually posting my covers individually. I'm not someone that records a lot, but if I did, and posted 5-7 covers per week, then it clog up the forum quickly. Now imagine if 10 other people did that with their channel. If 20 others... etc., etc., etc. It would be more beneficial for everyone if I just created a thread "B and B's Covers" and added to it once in a while. This isn't a hard rule (yet), but I think it will be best for this forum going forward.
Also, keep in mind that the rest of TB's rules still apply. If someone posts something that you don't like or don't agree with, negative comments can and will be considered trolling with very limited exceptions. The goal is to share content we all enjoy making, not to criticize each other for it.
That's it for starters, I'm sure more guidelines will be incoming. Until then I'm going to leave this thread open, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to post them.
Enjoy!
