YYZ Pedal into Power Amp Question

Hey guys quick question. Just picked up the new tech 21 YYZ pedal, I want to use it exclusively as my pre amp for my rig. At the moment I have a hartke tx300 amp going into two matching orange OBC-112 cabs. Pedal is plugged into the power amp out input in the back of the amp, bypassing it’s preamp section, but my question is should I have the master volume set to 10 on the pedal and control the overall volume from the amp?

You mean the Power Amp "In" jack. It depends. Does your master volume work when you plug into the jack? I would start with the pedal bypassed and see what kind of signal level you get and whether or not the master volume on the amp works. Engage the YYZ then set levels accordingly.
