I have a new Zoom B3 and I'm having fun playing around (ahem...testing) the effects this pedal offers. My newest discovery is the "Z Synth" effect. Until now I haven't played any synth effects. I've used envelope filters, chorus and flanger pedals, but I've only read about synth pedals. Now I get the attraction!
In fact the B3 is my first multi effect pedal. My effect collection is growing more than I ever expected, so I decided to try a multi effect before the pedals take up any more space. I'm ready now to try sounds that I wasn't curious about before. Some are fun, some just make me wince.
I realize the B3 has been discussed, and I'm reading through old messages about patches.
I'd like to ask specifically about synth effects. They're a lot of fun. Have you all found them practical at your gigs? Or are they more for fun at home and at jam sessions? I'm just wondering. I could picture all scenarios being possible.
Do TBers have any favorite synth sounds on the B3?
