      Post #1 says it all. Sort of. "I am chartering a new club to any and all. This if for the TBer who is not afraid to admit they rock a combo as their Main rig. I realize that there are separate threads for Fender and Walkabout out there.
      Let us unite in the face of massive prejudice. let them respect our numbers if they cannot understand that our gear works for us.!!
      The only requirement for this club is pride in combo ownership. No bashing brands.....if it works for you welcome to the club!! PICS OF COURSE."
      There's some wiggle room here, but I (FL#2) interpret this as two simple requirements for membership:
      1. Enough pride (real or feigned) in owning a combo to want a number, and
      2. One or more photos of your combo. Not stock photos. Not photos of someone else's combo. Or your three year old cat's. Yours.
    • CC rules are simple:
      1. What's said in Combo Club can be said anywhere. Why should it stay in Combo Club?
      2. Follow the TalkBass rules. In particular, avoid taboo subjects, language, and behavior. Do not get CC shut down. Thank you. (I don't know that it's ever happened to CC but it has happened to other clubs.)
      3. Try to stay mostly on topic. Diversions, within reason, are fine. See rule #2.
      4. Neither TalkBass nor Combo Club have dues. But running a forum takes time and effort. If you get value from TalkBass, please consider contributing. You'll see less ads, as well. (I am not part of the TB staff; I don't get any of the money.)

      #1 was the first number (2015/03/15) added by Club Originator. #40 was the last correct number (added 2015/03/24/) added by Club Originator. #41 was the first corrected number (2018/06/19) by FL#1.
      Interestingly, or not, after #40 the Club Originator regressed and started re-issuing #34 thru #40 again, then #41 & #42! So, FL#1 then reassigned the CO's second #34 thru first #42 to #41 thru #49, respectively. He then also reassigned those of us who had taken overlapping self-serve numbers to #50 and so on. He really had some correcting to do! But his years of teaching pulled him thru. :thumbsup:
