bassman_al did a great job on the pickup installation/shielding work he did for me in exchange for a Fender bass bridge. In addition, he went the extra mile and lowered the E string slot on my nut which made the bass play a lot better. I wholeheartedly recommend doing business with baseman_al to anyone.

Al is the man. He replied to every private message and thread post quickly, gave me all the information I needed (including some things I didn't even think to ask about), he gave the bass a full setup, played it at a gig the night before I checked it out, and did a few more adjustments to it at no extra cost. It was a pleasure meeting him, he let me take all the time I needed to play the bass before buying it, and even offered to change the strings so I could hear it with rounds. (I declined; half-rounds sound great on this thing!)
Moreover, I had a fun time hanging out with Al and would buy from him again in a heartbeat. He knows his stuff and I feel like I got a great deal on a nearly perfect instrument. Can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks!
