I really would like to give a 100% Positive feedback because the seller sounds like a real good guy. But I cannot leave positive feedback. I do not want to give negative feedback either... So I must leave Neutral.
Here is why...
The pedal has "finally" arrived here and is as described in the add..It works just as it should.. so that is 100% A+
My reason for not leaving (+ feedback ) is for poor communication by seller which was exacerbated by my tight time schedule since i am leaving for a tour.. In just 2 hours from now need to leave
I paid for the pedal on May 16th.. Seller said (I'll send it out first thing Monday morning...(at the latest).)granted he was having to deal with a few major things in his life. I sent my apologies to him..
The Pedal did not ship on that Monday.. I emailed on Wednesday to see what was up. Seller said it is best to contact him by Text. So i did that.
Seller said (I hope to have it sent out by tomorrow (Friday at the latest)...I'm sorry again for any inconvenience.) That would normally be OK for me.
Still no tracking of email saying it shipped that Thursday or Friday.
He knows that I have a tour to leave to go on and need to have someone here to sign for it …
So that following Monday i text and ask whats UP?. No reply in email or text.
So I thought that i was ripped off.
I sent a final text the following day on Tuesday that if i did not get a tracking number today that i will file to PayPal for a full refund..
Tracking number appeared that night and i received box today..
It is a great box.
Seller just needs to be more clear and precise in communications.
I'm running a full time touring business, its not a hobby for me.
I'm sure he is a good guy.. I say that when you tell someone that you will do something, . Please follow thru. If you are not able to ship for 3 weeks , that’s fine, just let the buyer know.. Thats all it takes.
Thank you
Great pedal and it has a good home.
I am a buyer posting feedback on funkyfretless as seller
Item was posted for sale stating that it had a lifetime guarantee which turned out to be inaccurate.
It was stated that the seller would pay for the repairs.
In the spirit of fairness, I had it repaired and offered up paying for more than half the repairs because the seller stated that he "had no idea" that it would cost that much.
He stated in a PM conversation that he would give me a partial paypal refund for the 40% cost of the repair 3 weeks ago on 10/31/14.
Numerous conversation posts and a phone call remain unanswered.
He has logged on to Talkbass.com since then, but still no reply or refund.
