Excellent communication with Jory! We were able to work out the details quickly and easily. Our meeting was great - a good guy to talk with about music, equipment and the like. I'm happy to recommend him!

Communications and an agreement were easy to agree upon for this sale. We might even have been able to make an in-person transaction if not for holiday time traffic that might have made it a little bit difficult.

On that note - I was disappointed with the USPS for how long it took them to deliver a set of strings barely 15 miles within the same state. What should have taken 2 or 3 days max turned into at least 7.

I appreciate TheLarch being understanding about that aspect of our transaction!

Excellent transaction with Steve! We came to terms easily enough. Had good communication, and we were able to meet up so that he could try out the instrument. We closed the deal on the spot and it was a great experience. And he's a cool guy. Glad to find my old Jazz bass 5 string a good home with a solid player!

This was such a super-smooth TB classifieds deal. Thankfully we are both in the same region so that we could conduct a face to face transaction. The instrument was absolutely as advertised and plays really well.

Jarod was a pleasure to deal with - he gave accurate information and was able to answer my questions. And we were able to come to a deal very easily. And it was a pleasure getting to meet another cool TB member.

I was the seller of a 2013 Gibson Midtown Standard semi-hollowbody bass. jtarmino and I were able to negotiate workable terms.

I posted my Ernie Ball / Musicman Stingray 5 string fretless for sale. Chris contacted me and was seriously interested. We came to terms pretty quickly and he was quick to pay. I'm glad that I was able to find this bass a good home. This was a good Talkbass experience.

I bought a Tech21 VT Bass V2 pedal from Laklandfan. Overall it was a positive experience with clear communication.

I had a positive experience as the seller. There was an issue when the pedal arrived at it's destination, as a switch was sticking. 69limeRev worked through this and was able to get the switch unstuck. I was prepared to offer a refund, but thankfully the situation was resolved and we did not have to go down that road.

All the while our dialogue was open and constructive. 69limeRev is a solid TBer!

Dave was an absolute pleasure to deal with in this transaction, and I would be happy to refer him to other TB gear sellers. Our communication was good and we came to agreeable terms without a whole lot of fuss. I'm glad that my Eden head was able to find a good home.

Brett was definitely a good buyer. He communicated well with me regarding the neck I was selling. We had a very reasonable price negotiation. And I would definitely consider doing business with him again, and would recommend him as a good buyer to other TBer's.

I was the seller of the Eden D-210XLT. bassrob68 expressed interest in the cab and was kind enough to travel to me for a demo, sale and pickup.

Overall this was a very positive experience. bassrob68 is a cool guy and a pretty good player, too. I would be happy to do business with bassrob68 in the future, as well as recommend him as a buyer who takes his part in a sale seriously.

I was the seller of an Epiphone Jack Casady signature bass in ebony. Sorado71 expressed interest in my bass. Part of the attraction for him was the original, larger case that Epiphone offered as an after-market hardshell case.

And truth be told, this is where some of the challenges arose in this particular deal. Because this particular hardshell case is exceedingly large. And finding an appropriate shipping box for the case (and of course the bass) was very difficult.

To his credit, Sorado71 was very understanding about the delays involved in finding a shipping box that would provide sufficient protection for the trip to the bass's new home. Additionally, the buyer was very understanding about some personal delays that I was dealing with since I had a plumbing emergency at my home.

Since the timeframe for our deal was a little challenging I did not want to accept payment until I was able to nail down the shipping. When the cost of shipping turned out to be extremely expensive given the size of the box? Sorado71 was willing to work with me so that we could make a deal that worked well for both of us. And when we were both ready to go? Sorado71 paid in a very timely fashion.

All in all, while this was one of the more challenging sales of a bass that I have conducted on Talkbass, it worked out well because both the buyer and I were able to communicate well with one another. I would gladly do business with Sorado71 again. And if so, I hope that shipping will be a far easier affair!
