I could not be happier -- this transaction went as smooth as could possibly be.
The bass was shipped within a day, and was packed to survive a fall from 30,000 feet without a parachute. Not kidding - the bass itself was wrapped with bubble wrap taped with military precision inside of the gig bag, and then the gig bag was also similarly wrapped in bubble wrap, a reflection of how much she loved and babied the instrument, which arrived in 99.5% brand new condition. The seller's communication through the process was beyond outstanding, and she took the time to make multiple videos demonstrating the bass with various tone control settings that I requested to hear. What a sport!
I would go out of my way to buy another bass from @77stingray if the opportunity arises.

I cannot even think of strong enough words to describe how awesome this seller is!
Purchased a very high end bass from him, and not only was it exactly as described, but it was packed well enough to survive any sort of torture the UPS man might try to inflict upon the package. It arrived in FLAWLESS condition, exactly the same as if buying it brand new, including tools, paperwork and other case candy, etc. It had a museum grade leather gig bag which was also in 100% mint as-new condition, not a mark on it.
His communication throughout the process was honest, clear, prompt, professional, and friendly - a total pleasure to deal with.
In summary, I would definitely go out of my way to buy from @idoker again.

Choose any superlative: fantastic, wonderful, awesome, amazing, incredible,etc. They all apply here. But if I had to pick ONE word that sums up this seller, it would be: HONEST. He listed a bass that was 5 years old and described it as like new. That can mean different things to different people, but he and I have the same definition for that term. He was NOT KIDDING, it literally looks like it was built yesterday, and tested for maybe 15 minutes. He even fully wrapped the hardshell case in bubble wrap so it wouldn't rub against the inside of the cardboard box. All the case candy looked like Ken Smith himself placed it into the case. The bass even SMELLS new. The seller said it was stored all these years under climate control. The evidence clearly supports that claim.
We initially connected because we were going to do a trade, but then his circumstances became such that he preferred a sale, and I was already too excited about getting this bass to let it go, so I decided to just purchase it instead, even though I am actively in the mode of trying to SELL about 60 basses. But this one is a keeper, and I feel incredibly lucky to have it.

In summary, I would definitely go out of my way to buy from this seller again.
