Will tariffs cause MIM Fenders, Squiers and other imports to become more expensive. 25% or more

TLDR; Maybe, no way to know.
The importer initially pays the bill for tariffs on goods imported into the country. As for who ultimately ends up paying (ie. will retailers increase prices?) is a more complicated matter. The importer may or may not be able to pass on (some of) the cost to its customers - and/or squeeze the supplier to lower its margins.
Tariffs will also impact companies manufacturing on American soil - I bet companies are currently rushing to stock up on foreign inputs before the possible tariffs come in effect.
If it's an across the board tariff, then of course that will be passed on to the end buyer.
Yes. Importers pay tariffs, not exporters. Those costs will get passed through to the end buyer, lest the selling company eats the cost and when does that ever happen. It’s instant and significant inflation.
Fender will have to raise the retail price of American made instruments by 25% to offset the hit they're taking on their foreign, budget lines.
No. That's silly. Fender will raise prices across the board regardless because that's what corporate America does to people dumb enough to pay those prices. Besides, all things being equal, nobody will be able to afford new guitars because the price of living is going to go up astronomically. People will have to sell their gear to feed their adult children and prices will drop.

In a word, "yes." And in fact so will every instrument that uses any foreign-made parts.

If there’s anything you want/need that may be imported or contain imported parts (especially home electronics), buy it now.

That will increase demand for used guitars and basses, which will in turn increase prices for them too.
Only if there is a demand at all. New or used, it's going to be hard to justify having a stable if you're raising a family. Time will tell.

It has been reported already that some manufacturers, not necessarily instrument makers, said they will pass on whatever increase they are hit with to the consumer 
If … the big IF … manufacturer passes only the tariff onto consumer then a 25% import tariff may end up pushing prices up by no more than 10-15% on retail price.
I don't think you could find an instrument that DOESN'T use foreign-made parts. Electronics, metal, lumber...
Since there’s supposed to be significant price drops in other areas these tariffs might be painless??
