    polymer coated strings advantage

    Last year I spoke to a Rotosound rep who told me that the only a polymer coating doesn't change the sound. DR confirmed this, & Dragonskins are polymer coated Hibeams. (I keep going back to Hibeams.) If round wound strings get flat largely from gunk & grime, aren't polymer coated round wounds...
